Course is designed for Chairs of Academic Departments that are engaged in research, or would like to be engaged in research.
Course Description
A panel of USC Department Chairs will present innovative approaches for helping faculty write effective proposals. Topics will include mentoring junior faculty, peer review of draft proposals, offering incentives and rewards for faculty and providing effective administrative support.
Instructor
Randolph Hall, Vice President of Research (moderator), plus panel of department chairs.
Length
One 90 minute session. Offered once per year.
