Core Facilities and Laboratories

There are over 50 core facilities and laboratories located at the University of Southern California main campus (UPC), Health Science Campus (HSC), and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), offering researchers access to state-of-the-art technologies, resources and expertise across academic disciplines and clinical specialties.

USC’s core facilities and laboratories support USC’s Plan for Science and Technology by providing outstanding facilities that enable faculty and students to perform cutting-edge research, attracting new transformative faculty to the university in critical areas such as high performance computing, genomics, biomedical imaging, translational medicine, nanoscience, and digital media, among others.
