dead-sea-scrollsThe USC Shoah Foundation Institute maintains the largest archive of video testimonies of Holocaust survivors and other witnesses. Its mission is to overcome prejudice, intolerance, and bigotry—and the suffering they cause—through the educational use of the Institute’s visual history testimonies. The Institute supports scholarship and research in many fields, develops educational products and lessons, and provides training to teachers on the use of testimony in the classroom. Services include: access to archives at institutions around the world.

USC Digital Repository

The Repository draws upon a large team of full-time engineering staff and engineering interns to develop improved techniques for preserving and providing access to digital content. It draws upon the extensive resources of USC, particularly USC Libraries, the USC Shoah Foundation and the USC Information Technology Services group. Services include: Digitization, Cataloging, Preservation, Web Access and File-server access (with high-quality, high-bandwidth file management capabilities to access, manage, and manipulate large digital collections). Also available is the recruitment, training and managing of teams of students for individualized archive projects ranging from high-volume cataloguing to software development.
