Who May Serve as PI:                   

Pre-Alliance Planning: The Principal Investigator for Pre-Alliance Planning proposals should be the key personnel that will be responsible for organizing and implementing the planning activities. Institutional leadership support must be demonstrated by the participating institutions.

Purpose:

Overall, the LSAMP program provides funding to alliances that implement comprehensive, evidence-based, innovative, and sustained strategies that ultimately result in the graduation of well-prepared, highly-qualified students from underrepresented minority groups who pursue graduate studies or careers in STEM.
