Negotiating Tactics for Women in Science

Who Should Attend

Women faculty from all schools/divisions at the health sciences campus (HSC): KSOM, OT/PT, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.

Course Description

Workshop geared towards providing strategies for negotiation. Discussion on tactics that women can use when negotiating in an academic setting, using interactive presentations and role-playing exercises. Covering fears and concerns that women face when negotiating: pay, resources, job position/title, etc. The event will provide mentoring strategies and tactics to help reduce the gender gap that exists in the workplace.
