- USC IRB has launched a new Slack workspace to make it easier to access up-to-date information regarding USC Human Subjects Research.
- To increase efficiency, improve the quality of study protocol submissions, and to reduce review wait times, on December 4th the iStar platform removed prompts in Sections 10, 11 and 12 from the application. Instead, as of January 1st, IRB proposals will include a fully developed protocol in iStar Section 5.2. Studies already in the queue will be grandfathered. New studies will be returned without review if the appropriate protocol in not included. For details, visit our website.
- The IRB office, like the rest of USC, will be closed between December 21st and January 3rd.
